Kid didn't respect police. Cop showed weakness. Kid doesn't want to be told what to do from someone he doesn't like. The cop is weak so the kid thinks he doesn't have to. Then cop escalates it by raising his voice over the kid voice. Then it all went sour.
The kid may have cooperated if the cop didn't show his pussy side. Once kid saw the pussy side, the dominos started to fall.
I bet kid and all his friends love cops even more now. Stupid shit like that can get people killed. A lot of stupid shit can get people killed.
Dealing with kids like that is something most people don't want to do. The people dealing with kids like him should be the right people.
Cops with a short fuse probably don't last long. I think they both forgot the Golden rule. That is why America needs people who will do their best to follow that Golden rule.
If that cop had just been cool and tough, then the kid may have listened. Maybe he was too cool and not tough enough. With a short fuse on top of that.
Most people are not cut out for the job. It takes a certain person, with the right attitude and a lot of training to make a good cop.
