Actually your probably not far from the truth. I broke my ankle in three places by slipping in my living room, my foot was pointing outwards and after a rather loud scream I grabbed it and pulled it back into place. It was instinctive and had i thought about it i probably wouldn't have done it (I have a very low pain threshold!!!) However when I got to the hospital, the amazed ER doc said it was the best thing I could have done because I could have lost circulation in my foot otherwise! I was lucky though I didn't break the skin, coz I think that would have had me out cold and it was only me and my two little ones at home!! Have a couple of HUGE scars now, and a load of metal stuff!!!
