It's my firm belief that people who make constant homophobic references, make them because they are dealing with an inner sexuality battle with themselves. They are in fact gay themselves, but are horrified by the idea because society has told them to hate gay people. A notion that developed from childhood and had a sting in it's tale during adolescence. What they're actually trying to say when they have these anti-gay outbursts is, I hate the fact that i'm gay.

I'm not sure i agree with your notion that we're all gay to some extent. If you want to we cam break the argument down to basics. i.e. the mechanics of it and purpose of it. We have sex organs to reproduce with. A man has a penis and this is designed to penetrate the vulva. for the sole purpose of depositing sperm in close proximity to the womb etc.. etc..
Placing the penis into the anus, whether in male one or a female one is fundamentally deviant. It's not what either are for. Personally, i think it's quite fowl to place you 'old man' into what is essentially a sewer pipe.
So, that in mind, we are not all gay at heart or whatever. You're right though, it is about choice, but it's not a default condition that we have to decide to opt out of to confirm our straight sexual preference to ourselves.

Your notions on sexuality are superficially correct, but you need to study further into the matter, since the "layman terms" concept of sexuality you describe has long ago been debunked by all the major schools of biology and psychology, even more since sex is not only genital. It is a quite common misconception, one which in my early years I also believed. I also used to mention the "fact" that there were no instances of homosexuality in other animal species (nature, so to speak) only to discover that I was wrong on that one too. So now I just humbly accept the fact of perversions as part of nature. Theres a lot of them, including some that are widely seen and socially accepted. Like, for instance, considering that having sex with a 17 year old girl is "pedophilia", a concept that is as unnatural, sick and perverted as many other perversions. Regardless, since somebody thought about legislating about it, now everybody thinks like that, and THEY think they are the ones that are "not sick".
Well, you know you cant ask people to be smart and think about what they are led to believe, or look for the essence of things. So all we can ask for is a little tolerance and comprehension.
