I'm from Portugal which is near to Spain, so we have that shit called bullfights too and i can't believe some people call it tradition.
Honestly, don't support this torture or the meat industry. The video 'rascoil' posted, pretty much shows what happens to every single animal in slaughterhouses and factory farmings.
I am a vegetarian and i've been for 4 years. I never ever starve whenever i'm hungry, after 3 days i decided to stop eating meat, i didn't miss it AT ALL.
Now it actually makes me sick, the smell of it, looking at it, ew!
I feel so much better now, knowing lives are safe.

Someone who eats meat is much more likely to develop heart diseases, cancer etc) eating vegetables. That is not part of its food chain and the same goes for humans eating meat.
Not to mention the characteristics presented by carnivores: teeth, claws and a comparatively short digestive systems as they are not required to break down tough cellulose found in plants.
While we have a much more complex one, to mainly digest vegetables and plants.
And if we are the superior specie for our intelligence and ability to make decisions and not acting on instinct, why not choosing a proper, healthy, cruelty-free diet?

well, humans are in fact omnivores...in a natural environment if humans didn't eat meat they would get pernicious anemia...which is fatal and due to a lack of vitamin B-12. Vitamin B-12 is only found in meat and dairy products. Vegans who eat eggs or milk woulnd't suffer, however. Lacto-ovo-vegans)those who dont eat milk or eggs can supplement with cereal, if it's fortified.
