Our 5th grade playground monkey bar swingy-things would involve the usual swing along 6 bars from one side to the other. I could never figure out how to swing over, especially with my arm strength then being so low that I couldn't maneuver my body to any extent, I just let go. One time, a girl in the class worked her way over, so I stood at the other end to see just how (or if) she could angle herself to get on the swingies. But my stand consisted of these lateral poles which were slippery, and so while I watched, I felt myself slip straight down onto the pole stand a full 2 feet to plant directly onto my balls. I was screaming like a bitch for 10 seconds straight before I figured out how to walk to the nurse's office.
