Camel Spiders aren't spiders (Araneae have 8 legs). They're Solifugae(which have 10 legs) and are more closely related to Scorpions, which do eat like that. Not being pedantic or anything.

whats even worst, when we came back from the desert, some of his/her cousins hitch a ride back in our cargo pallets and ended up on our base in new mexico. there was sightings reported all over base for 6 months...thank God that the insane winter killed them off or it would of been like that movie arachnophobia

When I was stationed in Texas living off base with some other people we had an aquarium with scorpions and tarantulas and whoever woke up first it was their duty to count the critters and raise the alarm if the count was off.

Oh yeah I think i'd want to keep an aquarium full of painfully poisonous critters myself... beats the hell out of keeping fish.
