i dont watch, or for that matter care about hockey, but i still respect the fact of it being a sport. wrestling is scripted, and purely entertainment. hockey-revered and played all across the world. as for the fighting, it is in any sport. it may not be visible, but underhanded tactics are used all the time. at least in hockey they are actually allowed to "vent".

Yes in the 80s a player died by getting hit in the head with a puck.
Thats why in old hockey footage you'll see some guys with no helmets on. Now its a rule to wear them.

if i played in the nhl, i would have a SERIOUS problem with playing against or for the sabres because it seems to me like theres some sort of bad luck thing which comes with buffalo cos if i remember correctly Clint Malarchuk was playin for the sabres when he had his throat slit still its a really nasty accident but atleast they survived

Just a clarification question, why is it that being a faggot is a bad thing? Like you use it in a way that seems to add to an insult. Kind of like saying, "you're a dumb jew" when "you're dumb" would generally suffice.
