This is to MLB at 2:50pm. I have a little brother this age too and after watching that I'm also heading tonight to give my little brother a big hug. How could anyone do this to a kid? How sad. One of my co-workers showed us this video and everyone is upset by what they saw. Some of you here on the site say that the boy was talking back but honestly I didn't really hear him say all that much. The cop was looking for trouble and it seemed he had his eye on this particular boy from the very beginning. My concern is that the police officer kept asking for the boys address. Is that legal? I would be concerned if I were his parent especially since he was suspended. I just don't trust someone like that. I hope the boy has a loving and caring family. Awwh, I just feel so bad after seeing him being treated like that. This cop is a pervert. There was a cop in the town I grew up in who use to do the same thing. Argue with teenage boys over nothing so that he could get physical with them. Then he use to take the kid aside and put his hand down our pants as quickly as possible pretending to do a search and the kid was scared shit. I was a victim of it once. First of all, it reflects very, very poorly on this particular police department if that they allow such emotionally unstable members of society to walk around with guns; don't they do psychological profiles on recruits? This video only shows what happens after the officer decided it was time for them to quit doing whatever it was that they were doing. There no telling how long those tools were there doing whatever it is they were doing. If there's a sign that says no skateboarding, and you skateboard there, the officer has a reason to stop you. They were breaking the law by riding their skateboards in a prohibited area and the kid only got handled because he resisted the officer when he tried to confiscate the skateboard.
And no, this is not "normal behaviour", his friends showed "normal behaviour" i.e they shut up and listened to the cop after they were caught BREAKING THE LAW. Only the kid with no respect landed in trouble. If he had shown the officer respect after having been caught BREAKING THE LAW, instead of running his mouth off and showing disrespect then he would've been free and on his way in under a minute.
