Of course it is not funny for the bulls but you should know that this kind of race of bulls only exits for these shows. Here's an idea for you, stop breeding the bulls deliberately for this and then you won't need to stab them. Also if you do have a surplus of bulls, eat them after all if there's more meat available the cost to the consumer goes down.
