Anyway, again : Reverse editing. She takes a solved cube, unsolves it and the video is reversed. You can see that some of her hand motions are weird because of this. The audio is spliced in for authenticity.

50 seconds is actually very slow. My personal record is 22 seconds and I believe the world record is 12 seconds.
Oh, and being able to solve the cube doesn't make you smart. It's just a series of simple patterns and algorithims. Once you memorize them, you can literally solve it without looking.
It has nothing to do with intelligence.

I'd say that if you can figure out the patterns yourself you're pretty sharp.. otherwise, yeah, it's just memorization. I got a cube when it came out when i was 10 years old, found a book on how to solve it, and was able to solve it every time in less than 2 min.
