That looked like a bag of flour busted, must be the weakest land mine ever made. The people walking on the sidewalk next to him don't even flinch! I've seen in person what a land mine looks like, and that aint it my friend. He was more likely shot by a sniper and that is dust kicking up because he is dragging a machine gun.

Thats what land mines look like man, especially back in the WW2 era. Even modern grenades don't look like more than that when they go off but its not the size of the explosion that kills you its the immediate concusion of the blast. He might not look torn limb from limb but I bet you that most of his bones are broken and his brain is detached from his spinal column...that what usually does it...and thats not if the mine had wooden pocks or ball berings in it.
