The phantom completely useless camera operator strikes again... 
I saw this happen to a guy in London a long time ago. He was conscious and able to speak. But the train had rolled his body along the edge of the platform and effective turned him into a human sausage. his top half was joined to his bottom half in the same way that two sausages are joined. And it was because his upper body was able to maintain positive blood pressure that he survived the accident initially. But there was nothing the medical team could do at the scene to save his life because as soon as his body was freed from the gap he was stuck in, his body would suffer a massive blood pressure drop and he would die almost instantly. The tragic event that followed was incredible. His cellular was found in a pocket and his mom and dad were called. They and other close members of his family were able to get to the scene just in time for a personal reconciliation before he finally passed away. An extremely sad and harrowing tale which is absolutely not true cos i just made it up! But I had you didn't I!!

I believe it was an episode of Homicide: Life on the Streets. The guy that was pinned between the platform and train now works as a detective in Law and Order. As a matter of fact, he's the same guy that shot himself in the movie Full Metal Jacket (Private Pyle). However this incident is very similar to that episode.
