A punch to the throat ends a fight. Why people feel the need to throw thirty punches and still have the opponent standing baffles me.

Try landing a punch to the throat in a fight...it ain't so easy especially if the guy knows what he's doing and tucks his chin in.Maybe a knifestrike (front edge of hand) to the throat to drop him.
I doubt you'll kill anyone with a throat strike,it can happen but usually you'd need more force like from a kick.

if they blocked with there chin, theyd get knocked the fuck out..your fight experience clearly extends to eating a box of donuts whilst watching some anime
and it is actually a really easy way to kill someone, if the punch break the cartilage in your throat you choke to death...
and just for the record, i got punched in the throat once , it was a sucker punch as well..lucky it was from a piss ant , throat hurt for 2 days, weird sensation

actualy i been studying ninjitsu for years and i have been tought to hit people in the throat, but yeh your right the martial arts that have been slowly perfected over hundreds of years is wrong .. i got an idea why dont you let someone punch you in the throat and send it to NT .. that should prove your point, not to mention make a great video of someone dieing

And probably because punching someone in the throat's difficult when their head and arms are in the way.
