Sorry, but even NBA players can't get off a game-winning shot with 0:01 left on the clock. I've seen it done at 0:03 or more, but that's simply too short a time to get the ball, then get the force underneath it to heave it cross-court. Good that they gave it to the kid anyway, though.

Man I don't know much about basketball, but if there's one second left in the game why would you line your defenders at center? If there was 4 secs left and they were going to do a long pass then fine line up in your own end, but with 1 second left? They have to toss it immediately, go for the damn rebound!!!!
