Yup, I don't watch rugby because it doesn't air in America. How many NFL games have you watched exactly? I've seen enough "big rugby hits" on the net to know that they hit hard. As hard as they can without pads. And that's the major difference. It's not that NFL players are tougher than rugby players, or visa-versa, but that NFL players can be stronger, and throw their body around more with reckless abandoned because of the pads.
