That sound is called agonal breathing or agonal respiration if it is the type of labored breath that heralds death. There are other kinds of labored respiration (which are not properly termed agonal breathing) that can sound like this and which are associated with organ failure (like liver or kidneys). Likely the latter in this man's case, since it looks like he was shot in the torso.

MAN! The guy was shot in the lung. You can hear his breathing. His lungs will fill with blood and he'll die if he don't find help real soon. I work in a liq. store, and THIS is what I fear everyday. Working in a little store like this statistically, is more dangerous than being a firefighter.
