SUB GROUPS
Although these names seem to be referring to geographic places, they did in fact originally mean certain physical types.

Your "science" is about 50 yrs out of date, guy. Anyone who has actually studied anthropology knows that the idea of "race" is purely a social construct. With a small sample size from extremely diverse geographic locations, physical appearances are visually identifiable. However when the test sample size is increased to a statisticaly significant level, one will see a perfect gradiant from one geographic location (read: physical feature) to the next.

Actually the science on the subject of race as pertaining to DNA markers is extremely up-todate and cutting edge. There are specific differences within the human genome which are where these variances occur and which are responsible for the visually identifiable characteristics. Basically in lamens terms the breeding pools are varied and traceable to the specific origins ie geographic locals or countries or what-have-you.
