And this is just a mixture of stupidity of one kind (though guys) versus stupidity of another kind (what the fuck do you want the fucking gun for you idiot) , so it was more or less a perfect equation.

The theory of natures finite amount of natural life preserving defenses is illustrated quite well here. Humans are not immune to this fundamental truth, one can only gain advantage or prowess in something at the expense or slow entropy of something else. Certain pond dwelling lizards in the UK are a good example of this law. It was observed in certain ponds that the larger lizard co-existed with not only fish, frogs and other typical pond/swamp life, but a small and highly poisonous species of newt. It was at first tempting but toxic and therefore inedible food for the larger lizards. Eventually some of the predatory reptiles developed a relative immunity to the toxin and where able to eat them without becoming sick, adding the small toxic amphibian to its list of daily prey. It was discovered by scientists that the lizards who had developed a tolerance for eating the newts where vastly slower on both land and water in comparison with lizards of the exact same species who had not undergone a biochemical change in order to digest the toxin. This specific type of lizard (the name of which escapes me at the moment) had to genetically choose between agility or having a slightly more diverse menu in the pond. Now back to the point, these humans we see fighting also show this natural ability trade off, because as we have seen time and time again, people who use guns as their go to means of defense can't box for shit.

lizards in one pond decide to eat newts, newts = toxic, after eating many newts the lizards become immune to the toxin. lizard has one more dish on the menu
meanwhile, the same species of lizard which HAS NOT been eating toxic newts, and therefore HAS NOT developed an immunity to the toxin can run/swim much faster on land or in water than the lizard who now has an immunity to toxic newts...
summary... the lizard that has no immunity to newts can run faster than the one that HAS immunity to newts, BECAUSE it has a smaller range of prey to eat therefore has to work harder to get it
in connection with the video... guy with the gun can't fight so he needs a gun when as the guy that has no gun can clearly fight therefore needs no gun... i realise this is equaly as confusing as the original comment but it's taken me half a fucking century to write so it IS getting posted and if you don't like it, well you can all just lick my hairy nutsack

nice job of linking the two examples, but what you say here is quite obvious and doesnt need such analysis (though your analogy is entertaining). if you focus on one thing, you ultimately neglect other factors and in the case of the lizards eating newts, it was probably what they had to do to survive at that particular time and running faster was of lower importance. in relation to gun wielding folk, it all depends on the environment they are in, if getting shot is a high probabilty then being a good fist fighter is useless even though i have more respect for someone that doesnt use weapons.
