I'm from a country where they do not use spike-strips (don't ask me why) so I was just wondering....is it a good idea to hold on to the spikestrip like this copper did? I was waiting for the rope to get caught at the car, taking this officer for a long ride/slide....that would have really made this vid btw.

well, thats the kind of stuff you have to do when in law enforcement. not all of them sit around eating doughnuts, beating innocents, framing teens, or shooting fleeing suspects in the back.

he almost got hit because of how late he laid the strip, the criminial could have panicked and swirved right into him and the COPS camerman, he kinda of did and came very close but that cop did an amazing job, to me thats like having a 2 ton bullet speeding at you at 100 mph and you have to throw something at the front of it while the crackhead thats driving is hitting his crackpipe.... craaazay 
but the cop kept his 
police are not always good but this guy seems to know what he is doing
