As soon as I heard "THAT" voice saying, "A Convenience Store clerk...." I was like, "AAAAWWW shit!" If I'm ever walking down the street & I hear this guys voice saying, "A black man is walking down the street" & my shoes disappear, I'm running for the hills as fast as I can!

Absolutely no reason to shoot the clerk? That clerk didn't show any sign of even considering to open the cash register. The thug did the right thing showing him he wasn't just kidding around. And the fucking idiot clerk made the same mistake twice: after getting shot for not opening the cash register the first time, he risked his life again by running away screaming like a bitch. Lucky for him his back didn't get to be a sack of lead. How stupid can he be? So the rubber wasn't ruthless after all.

I'm not saying he did "the right thing" by choosing to be a rubber; I'm saying he did the right thing under the circumstances after adopting that lifestyle trying to successfully pull off a hold-up. Consider the following scenario: a rubber holding a gun asking for money, thus threatening to use it, "should" ideally make use of the said weapon if the store clerk isn't complying with his demand to show he means business. That's what I'm saying without the slightest bit of sarcasm.

Granted, if your a thug with a gun, it's better to shoot someone in the leg rather than anywhere else potentially killing him. However you're view of the clerk is somewhat distasteful. I don't think we're watching the same video. Go back and watch it and realize that the thug only gave the clerk 4 seconds to open the register from the moment the clerk realized there was a gun pointed at him. Can you comply with an armed thug in 4 seconds? Also, after getting shot in the femur, would you be even more willing to comply or would you get the fuck out of dodge?
No, we are not watching the same video, I think I'm watching a turtle trying to move in slow motion instead. (Sarcasm intended). Did you know being a store clerk is one the most dangerous jobs ever? A clerk should always be prepared as how to handle a condom (spelling?). What the clerk did when every second counts towards survival? He froze. You don't see an antelope freeze after seeing a lion charging it coming at 75 km/hr traveling 50 meters in under two seconds. That means certain death. I assure you were I in that situation, in 4 second the thug would be running away with all the money in his pockets. Also, you never outrun a bullet by offering your back to the shooter and limping with a busted leg. Heck, one can't even outrun a 700kg Kodiak bear, let alone a bullet. That move was pure stupidity, aka panic.

All I'm saying is that your viewpoint shows empathy for the thug and apathy for the victim. It just doesn't seem right to me. Expecting a man to comply with a thug within 4 seconds is asking alot when, "OH GOD, HE"S GOT A GUN!!" is all that's screaming in his mind. You do realize that sometimes freezing up is a biological matter? Since you want to use crude analogies from the animal kingdom, Google "Fainting Goats". Also considering that the threat of death is more of a motivator for compliance than bodily harm, I'd say there still was no reason to shoot the guy. You don't know my viewpoint on its entirety yet, so here it is: a robber is a worthless vermin, the worse kind of society's parasite, willing to use deadly force in order to snatch other people's hard-earned money. So much we all know, and this is the reality of it. I wasn't commenting on the obvious by saying for example, "that piece of shit thief should get a job instead of doing robbery." So you see, I am not taking the side of the robber. Moreover, a "fucking stupid" person can also be a good person; they are not mutually exclusive. And so I do think the clerk is the good guy in the video. It appeared as if I was taking the robber's side because I was disagreeing with the commentator and the police officer in the video by saying the clerk indeed had a chance to make a better outcome by being in control of himself; and by saying ruthless is someone who empties a whole clip of bullets in someone's back. A sure sign of immaturity (aka stupidity) is not being able to handle a situation however unexpected that might be. Self-confidence means not freaking out by anything in the world and always being in control, reacting and doing the right thing no matter what the situation. Learned helplessness, freezing, sweating, panting, fainting, freaking out, being overwhelmed with terror, etc. is a sure sign of the weak and those who are not mature enough to believe in their own power and ability to handle a situation effectively. I remember once I was sitting on the living room of our house in the morning before going to school when a huge bomb exploded near our place shaking the foundation of the building, then seeing my dad running in every direction like a madman, and I was thinking: you knew the city was being bombarded (that happened quite often, although never before had a bomb hit our neighborhood), so what did you expect idiot? I knew a fucking huge bomb is what attack airplanes drop, and even if I hadn't expected it to be so deafeningly loud and so unbelievably ground-shaking, I just told him to calm down. After all there was nothing we could do. This is an example of one of those rare cases where one should calmly accept the inevitable and the impending death like a man.

Wasn't really much of an argument on my side as it was an exchange of opinion. For me (and I'm sure the same goes for most people), 4 seconds just isn't long enough to get a register open in the face of sudden immediate danger. Hell, I'm lucky if I can get my tallywacker out in the open to take a piss in all of 4 seconds. Also, most if not all registers now-a-days require that a purchase be rung up before opening the till, that alone takes a couple of seconds as it is. Looks to me like the thug was either tweaked, or he just wanted to shoot someone. ...but your also talking to someone who doesn't buy into that humans = animals stuff. Anyway, off to go hiking. Good talking with you too. 
I agree, 4 seconds might not be enough to open the cash register and handing the money over, but I think you also agree it sure is more than enough time to move a muscle. This is what I wrote before: "That clerk didn't show any sign of even considering to open the cash register."

I don't 'get' this at all, I'm no PETA nutjob by far. I eat meat, and I believe there is nothing wrong with humans, as an animal near the top of the food chain, killing and eating animals further down the chain. It's the natural order. But why the hell anyone thinks we are inferior to any other animal is beyond me. My personal opinion is that we are all equal and and we equal virtually nothing, so "obviously we are not equals" needs some qualification for me.
The universe is totally indifferent to us all. Have you any idea how vast the universe is? Have you any idea how much of the known matter in the universe is organic (i.e us) basically fuck-all.

You still have a very high chance of dying from a gunshot wound to the thigh. First of all the femoral artery is one of the biggest arteries in your body. rupture that and your a gonner in a minute or two. Secondly, if the bullet smashes the femur, the blood loss from that can also be life threatening. So it's definitely not a safe shot to take as a gunman trying to avoid an attempted murder charge. Hands and feet are probably the only places where the risk of death from a gunshot are significantly reduced.
Oh, and it's 'robber' not 'rubber'. A rubber is something you shove on your cock to stop you having babies. Mind you, Spending too much of your time on NT stops you having babies too...
