Actually Iranians have been very prolific in suicide bombings. They had whole brigades of volunteers in the Iran-Iraq war.
They attacked the American army barracks in Lebanon using an Iranian suicide bomber.
Hezbollah is an Iranian terrorist group which although mainly made up of Lebanese, used suicide bombers against Israel in the 80's.
