Multiculturalism is the best thing that happened to South Africa. It would undoubtedly be like many other African nations had the predominantly white invaders not utilised it's resources. Look at Nigeria, for example. Incredible oil reserves and yet the country is still backwards and corrupt because it is run by an incompetent government. Zimbabwe is a great illustration of what happens if the land managed by white farmers is handed back to the black countrymen.

I think Liberia is a perfect case study of "black" attitudes and forethought. In 1822 the "American Colonization Society" created Liberia to re-establish freed slaves with the hopes they would "assimilate" to their normal sociological conditions. Instead, this country has known nothing except civil war, and in fact has almost no industry to speak of except for a Firestone tire plant (rubber exports), which coincidently was set up by 'whites'. Despite the millions of foreign aid this country has received from the US and Britain (loans which will never need to be repaid), absolutely nothing productive has come out of this country except war (even with all the assistance and resources that have been provided to it).
