Though I stand by my comments about the mother being fat, I admit I didn't notice the children. Personally I don't know what the psyche is like for a fat person regarding feeding her children. Everyone gets used to their own habits, including fat people. Yes, it's unhealthy, but there's a difference between having an unhealthy lifestyle you can't seem to break, and initiating a habit with deliberacy.
I'd like to think that if I were fat and frequented McDonalds I'd not let them eat much despite my own over-eating.
