I did that when I was about 13. We stacked three dairy cases and put a sheet of plywood on top. After about 15 runs at it, I finally got the courage (stupidity) to jump it. I fucking saw the rooftops of houses on the way up. Then I came straight down and folded my front wheel and handlebars flat. The first part of me to hit the asphalt was my face.
I would be amazed to see a video of that today, I'm lucky to be alive.
