cliff burton best bass player ever? i got to be kidding me... what about jaco pastorius? victor wooten? far superior bassplayers, if your just talking about writing main stream rock/metal/pop bass lines, then flea is better... i could name about 20 other that are better then cliff was. just because they are in your favorite band don't make them the best ever.
