After careful review I feel Mr. Miyagi's grandson violated the palm rule in slaps. You see , a slap involves fingers to the cheek or jaw with minimal palm contact. If you zoom in on Little Miyagi's paw, you will notice the fingers reach the temporal lobe and his palm hit the victim's jaw. Truly unfair.
