Now im not a pilot but I think its more to do with the big shiny red thing with the spinny roundy airplane wing things spinning around the top bouncing up and down and then turning on its side and then spinning around on what looks to me to be the wrong axis.

Looks like he over throttled it when it pitched and the resulting torque to the tail rotor wasn't anticipated or compensated for.
I agree about the lesson on collective, I'd also submit he needs a lesson in throttle control. It looked like he prolly had plenty of rotorspeed to get the bird back into shape. (BEFORE ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE THAT IS).

It says that the pilot is not harmed, the helicopter is major damaged. It slipped away from a landing-platform and fell on its side. I will post the final report as soon as its going to be released. Maybe i can get some pics of the helicopter...
