i'm no physics major but as you increase the distance (cans) don't you have to increase the take off angle of the ramp? ...and increase your speed?

Dude, the kid landed on the edge of the curb on his tailbone! OF COURSE IT HURTS LIKE FUCK! Any grown man there would have been bawling, too.
