The people who call them self serbs, are actually not serbs. the people who lived in bosnia who were Eastern Orthodox were called vlahs, or karavlahs, meaning black vlah, a ethnic group whos ancestry is not exactly known, but historians think that they come either from marocco or Greece. some believe they were ancestors of different regions who fought on behalf of the Roman empire, and settled in south east bosnia. When the turks came to bosnia they used the vlahs to work on their farms as somewhat slaves.
