True...and think how much better it would be if religion was never created to explain nature and make people willing to suffer and die for other people’s greed and ambition, in the first place. For example if that 1st century Jewish carpenter's son was never born, there would be a whole lot of people who wouldn't have been killed "in the name of Christianity". Crusades...inquisition... protestant revolution...just to name a few. Add on all the slavery, suffering and death/sacrifice that resulted from all the other major ancient and modern religions. I think the Buddhists, probably are the only ones I can't really complain about. A peaceful religion that actually practices what it preaches...imagine that!
