Clutching the bike up is the best way to wheelie regardless of the gear.

its better to throttle it cos its smoother in the lower gears clutch is better from say 3rd upwards but you need much better clutch control than this prick

You're wrong man. Power wheelies are no good in ANY gear. First, second, third, fourth, fifth, or sixth. They are bad news. Just because the bike CAN power up in first and second, doesnt mean you should. Clutch is much more controllable in any situation/gear when you know how to do it.

dude without trying to sound like a knowitall ive been riding 22 years, in a stunt cru 9 years i also help out in the summer at a wheelie school clutch jerks it up unpredictably unless u have %100 control as im sure we both have but throttle is smoother lower down thats why when up on back wheel u dont use clutch to go through gears

Ok, we had a mis communication here. I was speaking about using clutch to initially bring the bike up. Not to shift through the gears mid wheelie. But dude, throttle up wheelies are bad in any gear, at any speed!
