I'm working on a theory; either skaters have big balls which are easily snagged on railing and the like (which isn't likely because most skaters either wear tight pants or suck cock), or they have a dense/thick skull (which of course inhibits rational thought) implying an unbalanced head-weight/body-weight ratio. The result would be similar to those toys that are heavier on one side, and when you role them they always end tail (or head) end up.

Check my comment near the top; it was his own testicles that got knocked up into his throat and then busted out his teeth. The impact with the floor was merely insult to injury. Therefore the nut-shot was the incident of both injuries almost simultaniously, one following/causing the other.
