Writing

That's not a joke. It was a genuine govenment proposal in the 80's. Reading, wRiting and aRithmatic. The thing is that lots of people commenter that arithmatic didn't start with an R, but not a lot realised the mistake with the word Writing!!!

it's actually 'their' job not "their job"... You are quoting the error so you only need to use single quotation marks on the word 'their' and do not need to include the word 'job' as that word is correct in the context used. As a reminder.. 'Double' quotation marks are used to quote a comment, whilst 'Single' quotation marks are used to highlight a word or words used.
Grammar lesson finished...back to surfing the net.

Speaking of spelling errors SCOTT, in the description of this vid "With all the spell check technology we have at this point, misspellings are really unacceptable and whoever made that mistake should lose there job", the word "THERE" should be spelled as "their"... Thats really unacceptable.

As bad as that was, it was done by someone on the fly probably and could suffer from fat fingers but I seen the same word misspelled on a flyer for GED classes a couple of months ago. They had it spelled as "Eduaction". Here they had the time to type it up and print off who knows how many copies and then post them and still did not notice. And it was in bold letters and almost an inch high font.

i think its funny that this dude is bitching about spell checker and he fucked up in his own description of it. he said "whoever made that mistake should lose there job." although he used the word there in an incorrect way. the word he used is to describe a place like "i was there an hour ago" he was supposed to use their as in the person is possesing something in this case their occupation.

Yeah, bro, and I think 20,743 people pointed it out before you did. Who cares...well, besides you and 20,743 other people...Spellcheck wouldn't have picked it up anyway. Spellcheck checks for spelling errors, as you know. However, spell check will not pick up the wrong word spelled correctly........besides, there are higher expectations that Networks use proper grammar, correct spelling, etc.

Uh... Does the poster of this video realize that they used the wrong form of the word "there" to describe the video (as opposed to "their")? I really hope that was intentional, but I doubt that it was.
Libs like to trash Fox because they dare give conservatives a voice and latch onto anything they can get a hold of including this video. Yet their posterboy Obama publicly says that there are more than 50 individual states in the U.S. and gets a free pass.
