Happened between Bologna and Padua in Italy. Seven people killed including a family.

shit that sucks. i read about this austrian family that was heading home on the autobahn from germany. they had been on a easter holiday... then suddenly, some asshole dropped a big piece of wood, onto the car. it went right through the windshield and killed the mother. the husband pulled over (naturally), but there was nothing he could do... imagine that. one minute, youre singing ol macdonald in austrian and the next, mommy is being crushed infront her closest loved ones. it happened last year, but whenever i think about it, i get depressed, shaking my head on all the incredibly unnecessary shit some people have to go through. and i pray it never happens to me. sorry, just felt like sharing. funny description uhm, ill leave you be now.

The family's blue Dodge Durango was sliced in half when a steel support girder from a bridge construction project landed on them just after 10 a.m. Saturday. The top half of the vehicle was blocked by the girder while the bottom half of the vehicle kept going for another quarter-mile.
"These other cars got out to help and when they walked up to the car they just turned around and walked away. I can't imagine what they seen," said Shirley Leibovitz, who lives near the accident site and watched through binoculars.
