Based on all the road construction comments... you people have obviously never seen stupid road construction. Go to the White Plains area of southern New York and enjoy getting stuck there. Within that whole area there are a whole bunch of construction sites for what were supposed to be new bridges/roads about 20 years ago that they never finished. Instead, they kept budging for raised taxes from everyone in the whole damn area for funding to continue/"complete" the project, which made basically zero progress. They've moved signs around and chopped up a decent 3-lane highway into randomly-dispersed lanes... most of the repainted lines aren't even straight, and some of these roads still use tags for lane markers. There are a zillion and 10 lane switches and lane shifts, and there are so many unmapped quick lane exits that if you don't see it coming (and you definitely won't because they put the huge signs at the fork), you'll back up traffic for 6 miles and so everyone will be doing 10 mph.
