Baseballs do not cost a thousand dollars. Hell, I got a custom made Yankees baseball (when they ruled the late 90s) for way under a hundred dollars. These things really only cost a few bucks each if you purchase them at a stadium. Same with hockey pucks (well, pucks are about $5).
