I live within sight of the Golden Gate Bridge and I can't look at the freakin' thing without imagining someone making the big splash. It happens on average about once a month and is apparently one of the most famous suicide spots in the world. Watch the documentary "The Bridge", it's pretty twisted.

Good call. Absolute crazinesss. I watched The Bridge in it's entirety on Google video not too long ago. For all the time I lived in Berkeley and hung out in SF I never knew the key statistics about the Golden Gate.
