The ammo cost far outweighs the price of the guns. that's one of the reasons I don't own a .223; it's cost prohibitive. Have to disagree about the skills of the shooters and the pilot though. The shooters were firing at a very, very small target at a fair distance away. A real plane would have been far easier to hit. As an RC pilot myself, I would have to see more of him flying it before I said he had mad skills.
