Actually bud, my father was up until recently a homicide detective for San Bernardino PD, he just got promoted and is now back in uniform as Staff Sergeant. Needless to say, he is a busy man. I grew up watching him climb the ranks. I remember the days as a kid wondering why he is growing a beard or mustache, later learning he was an undercover narc at he time. He is not one to keep his professional day to day life private, he would everyday bring home stories of action, court, lawyers, and THE LAW.

N-T-Fan, if i respect you, it is because you remain composed in debate. That is a admirable quality in a police officer. Too often the videos we see here that are officer related are because the officer is NOT composed, loses his/her cool or lets the adrenaline take over and act for him/her.
What we see in this video is less of a PIT than what appears to be an officer taking things into his own hands.
We have a patrol car ahead of, and behind the suspect, which usually means the pursuit is coming to a end shortly.... but out of nowhere this third officer NAILS the suspect. Surely that wasn't in the plans when officer #1 pulled ahead of the suspect to box him in.
