yeah, the only difference in football and rugby is that in american football they hit much much harder, the game is more tactical and precise, and the athletes are far superior. you could take any defensive back/linebacker who is in proper condition from the nfl and they could play in the top rugby league......the same can't be said about a top rugby player switching over to football.....he would get ran the fuck over first play

Actually its been proven that a football hit is harder than a rugby hit. A rugby tackle consists of 1300 pounds of pressure while a football tackle was measured at 3400 pounds of pressure. The reason for that was determined by the two major rule differences. In rugby the ball cannot be passed forward and a tackle counts only if both arms are used to bring the ball carrier down. So there.

They do that all the time, That was just an incredibly smart move by him, They do it in basketball, catch the ball before they hit the ground throw it inbounds to another team mate...
