I have to agree with the majority of voters are uneducated. Howard Stern did a bit where they sent a guy into Harlem and asked black people if they were going to vote for Obama. When one would say "yes", they would ask if they agreed with his policy of (fill in the blank). The thing is, they would give McCain's policies instead of Obama's. You might need to do a little more research. You say "Free enterprise will always prevail", but you also want to spread the wealth. Those are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Free enterprise means that I am free to make as much money as I am willing to work for. Spreading the wealth means that me working harder send money to those who won't.

Now, actually gas prices started rising a little before '06 so don't correlate any vote in '06 with change and high gas prices. This is '08!
