You're a clever boy piss, yes that is my plan. 
It used to be that COTD caused a competitiveness which brought out the best in everyone's creative witty-ness. Unless you're a spineless twat and a welfare case, competition always brings out the best. The previous author of this site knew this too well. Now that the site has gone functionally stagnant it is bringing out the PMT in many user's which is typical when the incentive to be creative is removed. Some have discovered that the easiest route to COTD now is to whinge and whine and exploit that segment of a like-minded usership. Unless the author of this site put's some incentive back into participation by resurrecting the rewards and ranking, etc., the place will become the atmosphere one might find at the welfare office waiting lounge. It's halfway there now.

You are right. I remember sitting down watching them for hours, ranking and commenting on them all.
1. Because I liked them and
2. Because the rank system was a great incentive. Damn.... I even stopped going to other sites just to stay here.

Also, intellectual and/or rational arguements/discussions seem to be a thing of the past. They used to be so frequent....(We know that for sure from before the new owner). Now it just sounds like a high school class room.

People used to bitch and moan about about COTD and multiple accounts and 2 main users really fought to get rid of it. And they succeeded. Now it is gone and so are they. And more and more leave each day

Brian doesn't show himself, none of his staff show themselves and now no-one can even get an answer from any of them.......It Sounds Like Sabotage To Me. This site was a monopoly venture for the owner....and that is it. They are killing off the competition. They knew NT was a competitive threat, so when Scott put it up for sale, they snatched it up quick smart. It's great business practice when ya think of it really.......But we all pay for it now.

Good reply Kaos. I don't know the politics or motivations of the business side of things (as a visitor these things shouldn't matter to me) and only reference the previous version that set the standard for what made the "NT" concept what it was back then and what everyone seems to still want to cling to now. I've only visited here for 6 months or so and know there are longer term loyal user's like yourself from way back who, thankfully, put into the motion the aspects of the "previous" concept that made it nearly an institution in one's daily routine. I've not experienced this sort of thing from any other similiar site. I'm in the Internet development business myself and don't "play" too much with Internet based entertainment but NT has been heaps of fun at the same time can have a angle to be serious if that's what user's want to engage in. The passive daily nature of the new line up of video's and the crazy reactions in the form of comments lasting, for the most part, only for the day, keep it dynamic and something to look forward too. From a web "psychology" development point of view this is priceless and Scott must have been rewarded generously for it. It's too bad that, if what you say is true, it was snatched up with monopolistic intentions to limit and control through redirect (explains the redirecting links popping up everywhere especially the sexy links), it's audience then it's really apparent many user's here are waiting for something that is never coming back.

Oh no, not another no avi self proclaimed righteous one who is the only one out there keeping the world in balance. Be it known that us other "commentators" do have jobs, but it probably won't be to your approval.....we booze from morning til morning and experiment with drugs that you haven't even imagined in your wildest dreams. The guy wasnt stabbed, he was SHOT...this crime became very famous here in Brazil. The thief shot him first in the neck, then, when exiting the store, shot him a second time in the head (in a higher resolution video, you'd see the thief smiling after the second shot...).
