The Bakery had been robbed before and the silent alarm was always going off. The police thought it was another false alarm and failed to ask for a secret password.
Landy was one of the most notorious killers in P.Rico and is now serving two life sentences in a U.S.A. prison.
This video is now shown to all new recruits at the Police Academy in Puerto Rico on how not to handle this sort of situation.

A couple weeks ago, I was driving across town with three pounds of weed in a trash bag in the back of the truck, along two other legitimate bags of trash. A cop pulled me over for having a brake light out. He asked what was in the bags. I said regular houshold garbage. He said he wanted to take a look in one or two of 'em. I said go ahead, shitting my pants the whole time. Well, he just happened to open the bag with all the dog shit I'd picked up out of the yard. Needless to say, that at this point he had seen enough, and left the other two bags alone. Whew! Gave me my ticket and went on his way. I went down the road laughing my ass off. All in all, a lucky day for me!
