Look at statistics - about 40 000 people dies every year in traffic accidents in USA. And about 30 000 - in Russia. Who is the worst drivers, you say!?!?
You ask why nobody helped guy, that was still alive? Do you know, that IT'S NOT ALLOWED TO MOVE INJURED PEOPLE!!! You can cause more terrific damages to them! Operator made shure this guy alive, and called ambullance. Maybe you forgot that Russia have the biggest territory in the world, and ambulance can't reach accident's place in 2 or 5 minutes. And one more fact - the road was blocked to other cars. That's why there was nobody.

BTW half of those 140M seems to sell cheap clothes and cigarettes in the EU (no offence: I'm from Poland so my brothers do the same). And if you count cars per capita in both countries (or miles of roads - it's your choice) you will understand that driving in Russia (or in Poland) is much more dangerous.
Which doesn't mean that you are poor drivers. You are much better than Americans (and so are Poles including myself ) we just drive older cars, we drive'em much faster and our roads are narrower than the American ones.
