in know, it's a totally stupid comment but i've been waiting for ages to work that word in somehow.

for those of you who don't speak swedish, a chaise longue is similar to a duchesse brisée, but looks like a sideways-facing chair together with a long footstool. a chaise longue with a backrest at both ends is known as a récamier.
