Yeah this guy is cool. He usually gets arrested at the top, I believe. He's got half his act mastered (climbing sky-scrapers). Now he needs to start base-jumping off the top, and make a mockery of police and security by evading them. He'd probably be even more popular that way.

I'm British and I haven't heard anything about this, although I'm sure it was covered briefly by our media and The Daily Show (which we get of course).
This is obviously assault. What happened afterwards?
Maybe the lesson is that the guy should have retaliated at the time, coz it's doubtful he'll get justice through other means.

Idiot Woman Gets Arrested for Calling 911
I wonder what the original call-out was about. Anyway, the police should have been more sensible and just warned her not to waste police time again, and then shame her by releasing the 911 call to the press (which they did). I suppose there's a perverse incentive for the police to make as many arrests as possible, no matter how petty.
