My apologies for the Michael Vick crack. Let me explain. What I was trying to express was that it seems that there is a duplicity, perhaps a multiplicity pervasive in this digital society. A prevalent hypocrisy that states Children < Canines if not much more. So many people were enraged at Vick's alleged dog fighting organization or participation therein. Yet, some of these same people are first in line to extol the hilarity of a video of a female child fighting a similar aged male child. Congrats to you in this thread that feel as disgusted as I. Shame on the others that think this was something to treat lightly. We were all children once. Some of us had advocates, good parents, strong brothers or sisters, cousins or friends to protect or defend us. Some of us needed that. These two children in this video are apparently lacking any of those. Maybe you should stand up and do something about it. I'm sure that someone could identify the corner they were on, one of the businesses, something. What you witnessed in this video was a crime. Like most of the fight videos on this site. Unlike most of those videos, this involved two children. For one second, pretend you are not some hardened internet video viewer and give a fuck for what is right.

What a shame. At least four adults were visible in the video. I presume the person filming it was and adult as well. In age, only. So, let's see here. Child endangerment, times two as both subjects were clearly children. The four adults who did absolutely nothing to stop the incident are pathetic. As are any of you that actually thought this was funny or entertaining. What the fuck is wrong with you? I know it is cliche to say 'oh, won't someone think of the children' but it shouldn't be. This video is deplorable. It deserves censure from the general public and should have been delivered to local law enforcement. To whomever runs NT, I've seen people address a person named Scott, so Scott, removing this video will not make you any less money, it is not a first amendment issue and I think you have a responsibility to do something about it. If not, I will. Making money off of children fighting. Wow, Michael Vick applauds you.

There are many more brick and mortar hobby shops that sell kits as well as online retailers. However, start out with a simpler plane that you can crash over and over again before lawn darting a thousand dollar turbine. :) From experience, I would say get a gas RC car but for the price, wrecking it costs about the same. :)

CG, weird that I felt the same way when I saw this video. Many air-show disasters have been captured on video but the one at Liv is permanently burned into my consciousness. It still saddens me that so many people, not only the one's that were injured or killed by the crash, forever deal with their loss and pain but what the pilots of the SU-27 have gone through as well. Nobody at that airshow that day came though unscathed.

I understand where you are coming from, DS14. However, I would have to say that I do not think that I could compare NT with a cable network. NT is not 'on the air', NT does not have to follow the same rules that apply to american broadcasting standards and legality. Nor should they. I do think that the person that decides what gets posted on his/her site is responsible for what that contains. In the case of this video and others of the same kind, I would hope that the webmaster would contact the proper authorities in the case that if an actual crime had been committed the webmaster would not only not be liable for promoting that criminal activity but would be a vehicle for dissuading others to do the same. Perhaps I haven't looked hard enough but I haven't seen any disclaimer stating that this site will not accept and post videos of 'submitter' committing a crime. I dunno, I just think that this cellphone cam equipped society needs some accountability when they submit material to this or any other site and I think that the webmasters of this and other sites should consider that they might be promoting some of the senseless violence and criminal activity that they host. I dunno, it is a difficult and complex place to be when you run a site such as NT or the other similar sites out there. I used to run a gore site back in 96 and ran into similar moral dilemmas. Thank whatever that we didn't have streaming video those days nor cheap access to digital cameras. I might be in the same place as whoever runs this site is in today. I just want to clarify, content is content, I understand that and I understand it brings in money. Do it the right way. I think that this and other sites that post similar clips should have to get signed releases from anyone depicted in media that is delivered by this or other sites. As well, most of the fight clips seen here and the linked sites are so blatant examples of battery or assault that it should be in the best interest for the webmaster as a compassionate human being before a money grubbing parasite to do the right thing and report it. At least report it and then post the video and hope that you don't get sued later on. I dunno. To the NT webmasters, go talk to the PSFights guys and see how they stay in business. Go buy the rights to the last Bumfights flick. It is available and only a few grand. If anything, post EVERYTHING that gets submitted to site if you are willing to be responsible enough to help just in case that someone in one of the clips is a victim of a crime and hasn't already been helped. Man, I really don't know. It is a very complicated issue and I am not an expert by any means, I ran a site that was a genesis to sites like these and am in no way better than the NT guys/gals or any of their network counterparts. I just wanted to say that I think there needs to be a sense of self-regulation when no outside authority applies. Ok, yay. We get to see some person get their ass kicked for no defined reason. I'm not sure if I would feel better about watching it had there been some pre-defined reason. What difference does it really make? I cannot say that I am better or worse than anyone else that comes to this site. However, I can say that I will not watch any more of these anonymous 'fight' clips. This is nothing more than a recording of a crime committed against someone. No justification exists for anyone to watch it and not do something about it. For me, this applies to the current clip and the rest of the 'anonymous' fight clips that I have viewed here and at numerous other sites. I will no longer be a part of this culture of anonymous violence and I hope that someone reading this might feel the same.
