Idiot announcers didn't even seem to see the obvious head-clash, which is almost always the cause when both guys go down at once.
This scar will not be permanent. The wire was not hot enough for a proper brand. This is merely a shallow blister burn.

Oddly, a real branding iron doesn't hurt much, as it kills the nerves pretty much on contact... And it needs to be held in-place only a couple of seconds.
