If you choose to live your life one way that's fine but don't spend your time complaining about the way others choose to live theirs.

Actually palm strikes are better in the long run, even profesional fighters break their hands/knuckles/wrists when punching, a palm strike mostly negates these injuries. (Plus apparently you can put more power behing a palm strike)

He dosen't do Hapkido he is a 7th dan black belt in Aikido and it does work, he is also a black belt in Judo, Kendo ansd Karate. On a separate note Kung Fu experts usually lose when fighting other styles because hey are not used to actual full-contact sparring.
