Seriously: I work in a prison, and I can't condone this behavior. I understand losing one's cool around the pukier inmates, but once a guy is down, the problem is over. Somebody brought his angst to work with him that day and took it out on the slob on the ground.

Where I'm from, that second "guard" would be facing felony charges himself.

More: I got a kick out of the announcer woman's saying, "Two fights that erupt simultaneously." No such thing--not in corrections.

I've always thought that the "humane" methods we've devised stateside are simply manners to avoid the shedding of blood (literally). Liberals want to see to it that there's no mess to clean up.
